Hello dear Friends!
Another easy exercice that everyone can do!
1. - You’re offered either a parachute jump, or massages at the local spa, or a meeting with your favourite singer ;
which would you choose and why?
2. - Has a person changed your life for the better (or for the worse)?
3. - In your opinion, what is the worst cowardice?
4. - What is your favourite Christmas tradition ?
Go for it! with THE FORCE.

Hello dears,
Here is our first ANSWER to Let's Suggest 74-20! Will you please give us your impressions (indications and suggestions from the 22nd of November.
ANSWER A: please, give us indications of possible mistakes and underline what is clumsy.
My favourite tradition of Christmas is all the decorum, that surrounds this day. Festivities, joy, all the preparations which are made 1 month in advance in honour of the Saviour's birth.
The whole town is lit up, and the shop windows were full of toys and bright decorations.Young children are busy writing their letters to Father Christmas, well written and without any spelling mistakes.
The evening of December 24th, we eat the turkey with chestnuts, and a Yule log, the whole
family is together around the Christmas tree. We finish the creche by putting up the figurine of the new born Jesus and we said our prayers. Before going to bed, we didn't forget to put our well-waxed boots and slippers in front of the fireplace. In the morning, the unwrapping of presents made us forget our breakfast.
This mix of pagan and religious traditions may seem strange. However, I get very disappointed when people ask the mayor to remove the creche from the village square. The most beautiful tradition of Christmas remains the message of peace and tolerance, which must be perpetuated.
Thank you to the writer and to future readers!

Hello dears!
My favourite Christmas tradition is all the decorum no comma that surrounds this day. This includes festivities, joy, all the preparations which are made one month in advance in honour of the Saviour's birth (not really a sentence).
The whole town is lit up, and the shop windows are full of toys and bright decorations.Young children are busy writing their letters to Father Christmas, well-written and without any spelling mistakes.
On the evening of December 24th, we eat a (perhaps the, if we want to insist on the fact that it is not any turkey, but a very particular one) turkey with chestnuts, and a Yule log, the whole family is together around the Christmas tree. We finish the crib (in a "creche" is only "a place where babies and young children are taken care of") by putting up the figurine of the newborn Jesus and we say our prayers. Before going to bed, we don't forget to put our well-waxed boots and slippers by the fireplace. In the morning, the unwrapping of the presents makes us forget our breakfast.
This mix of pagan and Christian ("religious" is not the opposite of "pagan") traditions may seem strange. However, I get very disappointed when people ask the mayor to remove the crib from the village square. The most beautiful Christmas tradition remains the message of peace and tolerance, which must be perpetuated.

Hello dears,
Thanks for your indications and suggestions about ANSWER A. Here is the following answer!
ANSWER B: Topic 4 'What is your favourite Christmas tradition?' Please indicate possible mistakes and underline what looks clumsy. In any case, give your opinion!
My favourite Christmas tradition is Advent. It comes from the Bible but actually you don't necessarily have to be a believer to experience Advent. Recently, shops and brands have turned it into a shrewd and clichéd business, with Advent calendars, Advent wreath (which by the way you can make yourself with only a little imagination, and even less money...).It is a moment when you prepare the upcoming Christmas: you have four weeks to think calmly about a lot of things: you may want to reflect on truly meaningful presents for each and everyone (instead of rushing into the shops at the last minute as we sometimes tend to do...); you may also want to think of the big family meal, searching through your old recipes, trying to add a little something that will make this upcoming Christmas even more special than the previous ones ...152 words

I don't quite understand "clichéd business".
Otherwise, I can't see any mistakes.

Hello!
I think it's predictable rather than predicable, although this word does exist too.
The plural of wreath is wreaths.

ANSWER A: Gerold’s suggestions
My favourite Christmas tradition is all the decorum (no comma) that surrounds this day. This includes festivities, joy, all the preparations which are made one month in advance in honour of the Saviour's birth (not really a sentence).[yes, it would be great to add a verb!]
The whole town is lit up, and the shop windows are full of toys and bright decorations.Young children are busy writing their letters to Father Christmas,( well-written and without any spelling mistakes.(Je n’aime pas non plus cette apposition qui devrait être mieux introduite.)
On the evening of December 24th, we eat a (perhaps the, if we want to insist on the fact that it is not any turkey, but a very particular one) turkey with chestnuts, and a Yule log, the whole family is together around the Christmas tree. We finish the crib (in a "creche" is only "a place where babies and young children are taken care of") by putting up the figurine of (the) newborn Jesus and we say our prayers. Before going to bed, we don't forget to put our well-waxed boots and slippers by B the fireplace. In the morning, the unwrapping of the presents makes us forget our breakfast.
This mix of pagan and Christian ("religious" is not the opposite of "pagan") traditions may seem strange. However, I get very disappointed when people ask (the ?? what mayor? ) mayor to remove the crib from the village square*. The most beautiful Christmas tradition remains the message of peace and tolerance, which must be perpetuated.
TB corrigé.
- de•co•rum /dɪˈkɔrəm/ n. [uncountable] : dignified, proper conduct, manners, or appearance expected in polite society: which may include the habits and traditions surrounding Xmas, such as decorations, the exchange of presents, the songs, the ‘ugly’ jumpers, etc.
- Ne pas oublier de mettre ON devant un jour : on Monday/ on the 10th/ on Christmas Day/ . Attention, devant un mois, il faut mettre IN : in December/ in March/ in July… et devant les années : in 1999/ in 1621 : in 1960… ET... devant les parties de la journées ; In the morning of ... In the evening of the 24... Je dirais plutôt : on the 24, in the morning... ou encore the Tuesday morning of Dec24...
- ', the unwrapping of the presents makes': ‘unwrapping the present’ serait plus naturel.
* I don’t know what Mayor you’re alluding to. I browsed the Internet to find who had done that and where it had happened. I found an example near the Belgian border, but couldn’t find what solution was adopted…
L’expression était très bonne, et les corrections également.

*Gerold and Happynutmeg said : I don't quite understand "clichéd business". How can Advent turned into a cliched business ? Is it because now, it’s become very trendy to give kids (and even adults) some Advent calendars? It’s no longer the anticipation and pleasure of seeing Xmas getting nearer… and if the ‘surprise’ behind the little door consists in chocolates, how can you resist? There are expensive Advent Calendars, certainly depending on the quality of the chocolates… Sometimes mothers make these calendars themselves and replace the chocolates by fancy surprises – little animals- nice images etc.
If this isn’t what the author of ANSWER B meant, well, sorry, but I need an explanation too !
« Otherwise, I can't see any mistakes. » Normal ! There aren't any! Well done!
