( but it'll soon be back : B
T
LS
NB
B
K ) don't 'worry'...

PROBLEM PAGE:
1- ' I am the eldest child in a family of 4 and life isn't easy at home. My dad is a lorry driver and we only see him at weekends and my mum sometimes works as a cleaner.
She is quite tired at the end of the day. I help her a lot as hard as I can, but she is always nagging at me.
How can I make understand I'm helping as hard as I can? I have my schoolwork to do and my brother Andrew - he is 14- never does a thing.
' From Desperate Betty'
* POuvez-vous répondre à Betty par 2 courtes phrases en utilisant ces 2 expressions pour la conseiller
- IF I WERE YOU...
- YOU OUGHT TO... ?
2- ' My dad is very strict with me and won't let me out in the evenings even I'm seventeen and working. If I try to talk to him, he flies into a rage, calls me awful names and beats me up. If I talk to my Mum all she says is that he'll change.
I'd love to leave home but if I did so he would look for me. I can't even get a phone call without him standing listening to what is going on. What can I do?
'From Sad Helena'
** Pouvez-vous répondre à Helena avec ces 2 expressions dans 2 petites phrases:
- WHY NOT...?
- YOU SHOULDN'T... ?
3- My name is Minnie. I'm Archie's wife. He's a farmer. A fairly good one, for sure! My problem is jealousy! Archie has been spending his time in the cowshed since he came back from the big market of Dublin with Lisa.
I must tell the truth: Lisa' s a cow! A real black and white cow, mind you! She has got big brown eyes and an attractive personal moo! My jealousy does wear myself down! I would like to make Archie look at me again and stop calling me ' stupid, old goose'!
From a miserable Irish farmer's wife.

*** pouvez-vous aider Minnie ( il y a urgence!) par 2 petits conseils en utilisant
- IT MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA IF YOU (+ prétérit)...
- NEVER PUT THE CART BEFORE THE HORSE! I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO (+ infinitive) ?
****The three of them are waiting for your help: don't deceive them! Don't delay your answers because the problem evoked is very often a case of emergency. Thanks anyway. ( Aunt MAG' )
