Bonjour à tous,
Connaissez-vous les plats traditionnels britanniques ? cela peut vous servir si vous allez au restaurant en Grande-Bretagne. Alors saurez-vous déchiffrer ces plats et les faire correspondre avec les définitions données ? (exercice de Vocable) :

1/ Bangers & mash
2/ Toad in the hole
3/ Beef Wellington
4/ Haggis, neeps & tattie
5/ Yorkshire pudding & onion gravy

a/ Pastry wrapped around a single piece of meat, baked in the oven
b/ Stuffed sheep's stomach, turnips and potatoes (from Scotland)
c/ Sausages served with pureed potatoes
d/ Baked batter served with a meat sauce
e/ Sausages baked in batter

Moi je dirais :

1/ Bangers & mash --> c/ Sausages served with pureed potatoes
2/ Toad in the hole --> a/ Pastry wrapped around a single piece of meat, baked in the oven
3/ Beef Wellington --> e/ Sausages baked in batter
4/ Haggis, neeps & tattie --> b/ Stuffed sheep's stomach, turnips and potatoes (from Scotland)
5/ Yorkshire pudding & onion gravy --> d/ Baked batter served with a meat sauce

Très franchement, pour certains plats, je suis sûre, mais pour d'autre la diférence n'est pas flagrante, tout du moins quand on traduit. Je suppose qu'une fois dans l'assiette, ces plats sont tous bien différents.

1= c Des saucisses avec de la purée
2= e Morceaux de saucisses cuits au four dans de la pâte à crêpes
3= a Boeuf Wellington
4= b Panse de brebis farcie avec des navets et des pommes de terre
5= d Yorshire pudding avec une sauce à la viande.

Apparemment , j'ai inversé le 2 et le 3. Donc ça nous donne:
