Je passe mon oral d'anglais noté pour le BAC en début de semaine prochaine (du 22 au 24 mai) et j'aimerais savoir si vous pouviez m'indiquer les erreurs que j'ai pu commettre.

I'm going to tell you about the notion of Myths and Heroes. First of all, we can give several meanings, several definitions of the world hero. In mythology, a hero is a demigod who is distinguishable by his superhuman actions and qualities. He can be the main character of a film o a novel too. He can be also a modern person who accomplished a heroic action and who showed courage, or just a person from our entourage whom admire. In this way, a hero can be an imaginary, fictitious character o a real person who has marked customs, the history, and everyday life. He is trustworthy, brave, generous, humble, ready to risk his life to save others. He has convictions and a big heart which allow him to fight for a specific cause and accomplish great actions. A hero must be a model for all.
Then, a myth can be a legendary story which stage imaginary character o an urban legend , a belief told across the generations but unfounded. However, a myth is not necessarily completely fictitious, he can be inspired by real facts which have been amplified. Moreover, a hero can become a myth.
For example, Gandhi was a spiritual guide and Indian politician born in 1869 in India and murdered by fanatics in India in 1948 at the age of 78 years. He worked hard for India's independence and suggested to the Indians to oppose the settlers by civil disobedience based on non-violence. He fought for the respect of the civic rights of the Indians and the fraternity between the different communities. After his death, Gandhi became the Father of the Nation in India and his birthday is now National Day in his country and International Day of Non-Violence since 2007.
Moreover, Rosa Parks was an anti-segregationist activist born in 1913 and died in 2005. On the first of December 1955, Rosa Parks, in the town of Montgomery, was seated on a white seat and refused to obey a bus driver who asked her to leave her seat and sit down bottom of the bus. She is arrested, judged and charged with public disorder as well as violation of local laws, with a fine of $ 15. Through the non-violent protest campaign and a boycott against the Montgomery bus company launched by Martin Luther King among others, the Supreme Court breaks apart segregation laws on buses at the end of 1956. Rosa Parks, which has contributed to the American consciousness becomes an iconic figure in the fight against racial segregation and the civil rights struggle in the United States. Segregationist laws were repealed in public places by the Civil Rights Act in 1964.
Besides, according to a famous myth, Loch Ness, a Scottish highland lake, would be haunted by a lake creature that resembling a sea snake or a plesiosaur called the Loch Ness Monster or Nessie. However, anybody could prove its existence.

He can be also a modern person who accomplished a heroic action and who showed courage, or just a person from (autre préposition) our entourage whom (le sujet manque) admire. In this way, a hero can be an imaginary, fictitious character o a real person who has marked customs, the (pas d`article) history, and (plutôt "ou") everyday life. He is trustworthy, brave, generous, humble, ready to risk his life to save others. He has convictions and a big heart which allow him to fight for a specific cause and accomplish great actions. A hero must be a model for all.

Le monstre du Loch Ness n`est pas a priori hors sujet, mais la transition de Gandhi et Rosa Parks à Nessie est un peu surprenante, il faudrait peut-être amener le sujet différemment.
