quelqu'un pourrait-il corriger les fautes de ma notion s'il vous plaît ?
Merci beaucoup !
So, I'm going to talk about the notion of the places and forms of power. To start with, i'd like to give a definition of the notion. It is the capacity to direct or influence the behaviour of others or the course of events. To illustrate the notion, i've choice to talk about a power of music. The question of whether how music can be a form of power ? First of all, let's try to understand (d'abord essayons de comprendre) that music allows to oppose against political actions. And, let's consider (examinons) that music allows to gathers people.
I- Music allows to oppose against political's idea
Firstly, music allows to express opposition against a political actions and thus, influence population, therefore, we can say that is form of propaganda for to encourage people to protest. For instance, Pink sing « Dear mrs President » who is a protest song adressed to George W.Bush, the former US president (just before Obama), a Republican. Pink criticizes several areas of Bush's administration and terms in office, including the war in Afghanistan and in Irak, gay rights and poverty in the US especially after Hurricane Katrina. She blames for his decisions, for example the government choose to remove (supprimer) women's rights, in particular, the abortion. Furthermore, she criticizes her personality. Indeed, according to Pink is a lazy president who doesn't work hard and in addition, kept referring to his past as an alcoholic and alleged drug addict. Moreover, similary, « God save the Queen », a punk song by the Sex Pistols is a critical that the British government. They blannes the government for being fascist government like Hitler's government. In their opinion, the queen is not human, she's just like a monument which attracts tourists and their money to England. The song is adressed to the population : he encouraged them not to follow the instructions of the government and to stop being like sheep.
II- Woodstock festival music and art fair
Secondly, music allows to gathers (rassembles) people during a festival and to become a major cultural event. For instance, the Woodstock festival music and art fair or simply (ou plus simplement) the Woodstock festival, shows this power. Indeed, this festival has attracted nearly half a million (près d'un demi million), scheduled over 3 days on a dairy farm in New York in august 1969. This festival is a symbolic gathering (rassemblement) hippies years. Actually (effectivement), this is one of the biggest festivals of music history. In 1969 (one thousand and sixty-eight), the political and economic context were complicated. Indeed, american youth do not agree with conformism, Vietnam war or racial segregation. Then, this festival appears as a symbol of the pacifist revolution.
CCL
To conclude, we can say that music have actually a power. Indeed, expression a disagreement economic, political, social or cultural can be done by music. So, thinks to a protest song or a cultural festival, therefore thinks to the power of words, it is posible to change situation. Behind that songs and festivals can to hide subtly political ideas. In my opinion, i think that music allows to bring together people, for instance, national anthems are a symbol of national spirit. As far as i'm concerned (en ce qui me concerne), music that marked me the most (qui m'a le plus marquée) is Manhattan-Kaboul by Renaud, a famous french singer which is a message to all the anonymous victims of war and terrorism.
