Bonjour,
J'aurais besoin de correction s'il vous plait pour voir si j'ai fait des erreurs .
Merci d'avance pour vos réponses.
"I think this passage is interesting for several reasons. It's striking for the smart reaction given by a four-year-old child. Indeed, Elisabeth understood that women were excluded from power and only seen like wives and mothers; so, if "she pulled a face" like a child, her thoughts are those of an adult: with an early feminist instinct, she considers that being a queen "would be much more fun". Thinking that, at this age and this era, is without doubt really revolutionnary.
The succession's rules of England forbad women ruling the kingdom, because they were judged less clever and not capable of governing men: their role was simply limited to home. The reigh of Elisabeth upset this system."

Bonjour,
erreurs en bleu, corrections en vert
"I think this passage is interesting for several reasons. It's striking for(because of) the smart reaction given by a four-year-old child. Indeed, Elisabeth understood that women were excluded from power and only seen like wives and mothers; so, if "she pulled a face" like a child, her thoughts are (prétérit) those of an adult: with an early feminist instinct, she considers (prétérit) that being a queen "would be much more fun". Thinking that, at this age and in this era, is (prétérit) without doubt really revolutionnary.
The succession's rules of in England forbad(verbe irrégulier mal transcrit) women from ruling the kingdom, because they were judged less clever and not capable of governing men: their role was simply limited to home. The reigh of Elisabeth (the first) upset this system."
Vous me demandez:
"from ruling the kingdom" peut-il être remplacé par "to rule the kingdom" dans le passage correspondant? Oui,
voilà ce que dit le dictionnaire en ligne:
forbid [sb] from doing [sth],
forbid [sb] to do [sth] v expr (command against) défendre à qqn de faire qch, interdire à qqn de faire qch loc v
John's parents forbade him to spend any more time with his troublesome friends.
Les parents de John lui ont interdit de continuer à fréquenter ses amis gênants.
Enfin, dans quelle mesure "thinking that" est bon: employer think about n'est-il pas plus approprié?
En relisant, je dirais thinking so, ou thinking that way.
