Hello
My problem is I would like to know if this phrase is correct please
You still a star to me.
It should be " for me " because there is me after, not a verb.
Thanks for your help

Hello.
I would say 'to me', but even more importantly, you forgot the verb! Regards, Sherry

Hi, how are you?
It still not clear to/for me
(I would say to me)
But why the lesson says:
To+verb
For+noun

Hello,
there are three "to":
One introduces the complete infinitive:
I want to work.
To be or not to be, that is the question.
I like to work in good conditions.
One means in order to and expresses purpose (un complément de but)
I am here to work, not to play .
I come to help you to understand.
Watch out! The question is:
What are you here for ? I am here to work!
What do you keep running for ? to lose weight !
One is a preposition that can be placed in front of a noun or pronoun.
Give this cake to your sister.
You are very nice to me, very nice with me.
This situation looks strange to me.
You are still a star to me. means you are still a star in my eyes, in my opinion, from my point of view.
You are still a star for me. would be the same as:You are still a friend for me, a friend that works for me, does good deeds for me.
Mind you, when you say: Why are you so good to me ? it means: Why do you do so many good things for me ? The meanings are close.
Now there is a lesson which says:
Comment traduire "pour":
1) for + nom: complément d'attribution:
This present is for my sister.
2) to + verbe: expression du but:
I am here to work, not to play.
3) for + ing: pour exprimer la cause.
He was arrested for speeding.
Thank you for helping me!
Maybe you are trying to respect the first two propositions forcefully!
