Bac LE/aide 2
Message de caminataure posté le 30-10-2014 à 09:42:40 (S | E | F)
Bonjour,

Gothic fiction is characterized by the elements of fear, horro, by the supernatural, madness and darkness. It's a genre that combines fiction, horror and Romanticism. The main characteres are tyrants, bandits, maniacs, persecuted maidens or also vampires... Other elements that characterize this type of fiction might include mystery, romance, terror (both psychological and physical), the supernatural, haunted houses and Gothic archistecture, castles, darkness, death... The word gothuc originally describes a style of European architecture between the 12th and the 16th centuries. Gothic architecture used pointed arches and vaults narrow spires, stained glass windows, intricate patterns, and varied details. Gothic art and architecture was inteded to have a magical or fantastic effect on the viewer, evoking a sense of awe, terror and vulnerability. The Gothic building, old, unfamiliard, mysterious was the perfect setting for a story inteded to terrify the reader, like in The Temple, written by Joyce Carol Oates, or in this picture. The point was to remove the reader from the ordinary, everyday world of the normal and the familiard. It was to confronte him to the supernatural. The term Gothic came to be applied to the lierary genre precisely because the genre dealt with such emotional extremes and dark themes, and because it found its most natural steeings in the buildings of this style-castles, mansions, monasteries, often remote, crumbling and ruined, like in The Fall of the House of Usher, written by Edgar Allan Poe, or in this picture. Romanticism and Gothic are connected chronologically and thematically. The 18th century Gothic writers are often described as precursors to Romanticism because they valued sensibility, exalted the sublime, and appealed to the reader's imagination. The gothic novel is very famous in England. One oh the first gothic writers was the English author Horace Walpole, with his 1764 novel The Castle of Otranto. There is a big importance of the suspense in Gothic Fiction. The reader must be ill-at-east, in the reading of gothic fiction, like in The Temple, when the protagonist look at the skull.

Voir ci-dessus en ce qui concerne "pictures" . Le lecteur ne saura pas à quelles images vous faites allusion à moins que vous expliquiez.

bleu = erreur
vert = amendement proposé

Gothic est écrit toujours avec une majuscule en anglais
Je ne sais pas si vous avez assez écrit . En tant qu'étranger, je ne suis pas familier avec le système français . Peut-être une personne française va répondre à cette question pour vous.
Bonne chance..
