Révolution/ aide

Hello,
could you correct me this text please ?
Thank you for any reply.

The American Revolution lasted from 1775 to 1783. It brought Britain and American British colonies into conflict.
Many events and British decisions lead to different battles putting up British and colonists.
The Proclamation of 1763 forbidding the colonists to settle West from the Appalachian Mountains, the sugar, tea, stamp, quartering acts, and also the Boston Massacre or the Boston Tea Party created a lot of strain and stress. A war between the two sides was going to take place (imminent).
Britain had advantages; in fact they had a large population and were powerful with their money and navy. They also have the Native American support. Nonetheless they were weak because of Ireland, France and Whigs (a political party) who gave their support to the colonies.
As far as the colonies are concerned, they were poor, not solid (they were not united between them) that's sectionalism and moreover their economy was bad. But they had great advantages: they yelled " Join or Die" to attract revolutionary people, had strong people as leaders : Benjamin Franklin or Samuel Adams for example, had a good army and also an aid coming from France. But after all, what lead them to the victory was the moral, because colonists believed in their fight for liberty!
There were many battles before being independent: Lexington, Fort Ticonderoga, Bunker hill, Québec, Trenton, Saratoga, Charlestone, Yorktown ...
In 1776, the book Common Sense ( Thomas Paine) was a success and made people becoming aware of their conditions and encouraging them to declare their independence.
Finally after the Declaration of Independence, the treaty of Paris recognized the independence of the colonies in 1783 and was signed by the British. War was over

Bonjour

The American Revolution lasted from 1775 to 1783. It brought Britain and American British colonies into conflict.
Many events and British decisions lead (Conjugaison) to different battles putting up (Quel sens donnez-vous à “put up”? Je mettrais plutôt “entre”) British and colonists.
The Proclamation of 1763 forbidding the colonists to settle West from the Appalachian Mountains, the sugar, tea, stamp, quartering acts, and also the Boston Massacre or the Boston Tea Party created a lot of strain and stress. A war between the two sides was going to Lien internet
take place (imminent).
Britain had advantages; in fact (pas nécessaire) they had a large population and were powerful with their money and navy. (une monnaie et une flotte puissante) They also have (Vous avez commencé au passé, continuez au passé) the Native American support (support des américains autochtones). Nonetheless they were weak because of Ireland, France and Whigs (a political party) who gave their support to the colonies.
As far as the colonies are concerned, they were poor, not solid (they were not united between them (Il s’agit ici d’une traduction du français, mais en anglais c’est redondant. De plus vous pourriez remplacer “not solid” par not united et vous en tenir là)) that's sectionalism (???) and moreover their economy was bad. But they had great advantages: they yelled " Join or Die" to attract revolutionary people, had strong people as leaders : Benjamin Franklin or Samuel Adams for example, had a good army and also an aid (synonyme commençant par “s”) coming from France. But after all (à la fin), what lead (Conjugaison) them to the (voir leçons sur les articles) victory was the moral (Voir la diférence entre "moral" et "morale"), because colonists believed in their fight for liberty! (Liberté = fxxxxxx)
There were many battles before being (A remplacer par devenir) independent: Lexington, Fort Ticonderoga, Bunker hill, Québec, Trenton, Saratoga, Charlestone, Yorktown ...
In 1776, the book Common Sense ( Thomas Paine) was a success and made people becoming (Conjugaison) aware of their conditions and encouraging (Conjugaison) them to declare their independence.
Finally after the Declaration of Independence, the treaty of Paris recognized the independence of the colonies in 1783 and was signed by the British. War was over.

En espérant vous être utile.
