Hello ,

I found a questionable sentence from a test of this website:
"I visited the Tower of London in front of the Thames and saw the Beefeaters, the guardians of the Tower."
Is it grammatically correct to say/write "in front of the Thames......" ? Maybe it would be more correct to use one of the prepositions "beside....." ,"next to....." or "on the Thames " ?

Yes, I changed into 'near the Thames'.
You have just missed ten points as you didn't report an error from the test itself
