Bonjour,

Pourriez-vous me confirmer, s'il vous plait, si l'emploi du présent est correct dans la phrase qui suit 'if'.
Ne devrais-je pas utiliser 'WHETHER' au lieu de IF ?
Est-ce bien correct de d'écrire ' I take the opportunity '?

Dear Mr xxxxxx,

By the present we would like to inform you that we contacted xxxx company and we have already agreed a collaboration for importation matters if the outcome of the tender is favourable to us.
I take the opportunity ot this E-mail for attaching schema of engineering equipments we proposed you last week.
Your faithfully,

Merci d'avance.

whether serait faux, utilisez if.

Dear Mr xxxxxx,

I take the opportunity of this E-mail to join a schema of the engineering equipments we proposed to you last week.

Au passage, "by the present" ne convient pas ici, ça ne veut rien dire en anglais. Attention aux traductions mot à mot...

On utilise "hereby" : "we hereby inform you..."
