Hello,

Please could you check the English translation and tell me if something is wrong.
French:
"Mesurer la pile de la carte CPU à l'aide d'un multimètre en se plugant entre le + de la fixation du support pile et le - sur la partie dorée du trou à coté de la Pile. La mesure doit être supérieure à 2.8v."
English:
"Measure the battery from the CPU card with the aid of a multimeter with plugging it between the + of the fixation from the battery support and the - on the golden side from the hole beside the battery. The measurement must be superior to 2.8v."

Bonsoir,
ça concerne apparemment un ordinateur, vérifier si la pile au lithium ou batterie incorporée de la carte mère est encore en état de fonctionnement, ou bonne à changer ...

Je suis loin d'être doué en anglais, mais je crois que je peux quand même améliorer ta traduction.
(To) Measure the CPU board's battery by using a multimeter and by plugging it between + of the battery support's fastening and - on the golden side of the hole beside the battery. The measurement must be superior to 2.8v.

Pourquoi "To" devant "measure" et pas juste "Measure"? Pour moi "To measure" signifie "Pour mesurer".
Merci de m'éclairer.

I think ouechtonton was on the right path. Voici ce que je suggérerais :

Measure the CPU board's battery using a multimeter by connecting it to the + of the battery support clip and the - on the gold side of the hole beside the battery. The measurement should be more than 2.8v.
