Je suis étudiante , et je dois établir un petit texte en anglais sur les habitudes et manières .
Serait-il possible de me corriger ?

I live in Belgium since I was born. And we also have customs and manners as in any other country. We are used in general to be warm and welcoming. In Belgium, women are often very independent and free. The people dress warmly because it is very cold in winter. In Belgium, the specialties are chocolate and chips. Many people smoke and drink alcohol. To greet you are used to get a kiss on the cheek and then shake hands. I remember when I went to France, it was two kisses.

Many people smoke and drink alcohol. To greet you are used to get ( we give ?)a kiss on the cheek and then (or)shake hands (inversez ces 2 possibilités)). I remember when I went to France, it was two kisses.
