like as
I am still confused about their use in sentences.

such as = I like fruits such as apples.
= I give an example
so as = he is learning English so as to take an exam
= succeeding that exam is his aim in life
like is used to compare 2 things or people
he swims like a champion
as is used to say someone acts as if they were this or that
he works as a doctor but he has no diploma; he is a con man
