Passive voice

Hello,

Please I need some help!
I don't understand why the passive voice of "they might have sold the flat" is "The Flat might have been sold" instead of "The flat might has been sold".

Hello Willios,

1/ Dans un contexte présent (ou futur) :

The flat may/might be sold = soit vendu

Formule : May/Might + BE + Participe Passé

2. Dans un contexte passé

The flat may/might have been sold = ait été vendu

Formule : May/Might +HAVE BEEN +Participe Passé

Well, I would like to add some points regarding your question: I don't understand why the passive voice of "they might have sold the flat" is "The Flat might have been sold" instead of "The flat might has been sold"

Verbs always go with the subject itself, for instance:

They have sold the flat ----------> The flat has been sold.

They might have sold the flat ------------> The flat might (auxiliary) have (infinitive form) been sold.
