Hello,
For my first day in this club, I would like to ask you a simple question : how do we say "Age d'Or" in English?
I have a doubt about the world "Or". Is it gold or golden, or the two words?
And a strange question now : is the prefix "post" used in English?
Thank you!

Welcome to the club.
It's "Golden Age", and yes the prefix "post-" is used in English (it means "after").

Bonjour romaint.
Golden Age is the best. Age of Gold would be better than Gold Age.
The prefix 'post' can be used...for example post-surgical.
I hope this helps.

Hello,
Your question is interesting as there are two words that can describe the quality of "gold" : "gold" (a noun, which can work as an adjective) and "golden".
I'd say, when you use "gold", it means the thing you're talking about is made of gold (e.g a gold watch), whereas "golden" is used to say that what you're talking about has the quality of it.
That's why, metaphorically, we'd say "Golden Age".
Hope this helps.

Bonjour,
C'est plutôt "Golden Age" car "golden" = d'or.
Pour votre 2ème question : Oui, on utilise le préfixe post- en anglais.
Bonne journée !
