Bonjour à tous, pouvez-vous me dire si mes tounures de phrases sont bien faites s'il vous plaît,merci pour vos réponses.
The movie Avatar breaks a record(America)
Avatar is the fastest film in history to take in $1 billion ( euro 700 million ). It took 17 days to make it. It is already the fourth biggest grossing film ever . It is expected to break the record for total ticket sales. The record holder is Titanic (1998), which had the same director, James Cameron.

thousands of schools remained closed at the end of the Christmas holidays after heavy snowfall made travelling impossible. Soldiers had to bring military trucks to rescue drivers stranded on the roads all night and several lorries jack-knifed. the UK is experiencing its longest cold snap in 30 years.
Australia
Oceania was the first continent on Earth to enter the new year. Sydney, in Australia, experienced it 9 hours before France and held a firework display.
