2- Food for farm animals. (d f r d) 2 fodder = fourrage.
3- The frame or body of a ship. (l h l) 1 hull = coque.
4- A tool like a small shovel, used in gardening. (w t r l) 2 trowel =déplantoir.
5- The top edge of something where two sloping surfaces meet, for instance, on a roof. (g r d) 2 ridge = faîtage.
6- A piece used in chess, usually shaped like a horse's head. (h k n t g) 1 knight = cavalier.
7- Without pity. (h s s r l t) 2 ruthless = impitoyable.
8- (Of ground) soaked in water. (g w d t l r g) 4 waterlogged = détrempé.
