J' aimerais obtenir votre aide s'il vous plait.
Comment traduire : I did this for her to hang too tough on me ? Je propose J' ai fait ça pour qu' elle s' accroche à moi. Est-ce correct ?

Avec too tough, on s'attendait à un not.
I did this for her not to hang too tough on me.
Vous êtes sur que c'est tough et pas tight ?
Est-ce une citation ?
Vous oubliez de traduire too tough.
Comme d'habitude, on a un bout de phrase sans contexte...
Je trouve aussi (Cambridge dictionary):
hang tough :US informal. to not change your actions or opinions although other people try to make you do this:
The president is hanging tough on the hostage crisis.
On s'attendrait plutôt à trouver soit :
I did this because she was hanging on too tight to me.(une cause)
I did this for her not to hang too tight on me.(un but)

J'ai fait cela/ J'ai agi de la sorte parce qu'elle me collait trop, elle s'agrippait trop à moi, elle m'étouffait,

J' ai trouvé cette phrase sur Internet via un cours expliquant l' utilisation de For dans une proposition de But avec 2 sujets différents entre la principale et la subordonnée ....A bientôt .
