Hello!
Un petit exercice "débutants" pour que tout le monde puisse participer ... (correction vers le 15/10)
Il y a des dictons qui utilisent une comparaison :
As stubborn as a mule / As cool as a cucumber / As proud as a peacock
Associez un adjectif de la liste A à un nom de la liste B. Faites correspondre à la définition.
Liste A: blind / brave / busy / deaf / drunk / easy / Good / happy / red / white /
Liste B: ABC / a bat / a bee / a beetroot / a ghost / gold / a lark / a lion / a lord / a stone /
1) To be as ... as ... means to be extremely courageous.
2) To be as ... as ... means to be embarrassed.
3) To be as ... as ... means to be very occupied, always working.
4) To be as ... as ... means to have bad hearing.
5) To be as ... as ... means to be extremely pale.
6) To be as ... as ... means to be very simple.
7) To be as ... as ... means to be cheerful, in a good mood.
8) To be as ... as ... means to have bad eyesight.
9) To be as ... as ... means to be well-behaved.
10) To be as ... as ... means to be intoxicated with alcohol.

Is it really for 'beginners' ?
1 - brave as a lion
2 - red as a beetroot
3 - busy as a bee
4 - deaf as a stone
5 - white as a ghost

Allez, un petit effort ! Pour vous aider ... n'oubliez pas www.wordreference.com ...
Par exemple: je ne connais pas "blind" ... Alors je demande à wordreference (je peux aussi double cliquer sur le mot ... et j'y vais directement ! )

Oh surprise ! En regardant bien, je trouve mon expression ! Non seulement j'apprends "blind" ... mais je trouve aussi un autre mot de l'autre liste (et sa traduction si nécessaire ... ) (deux à la fois ... c'est bien plus malin ! J'ai trouvé un dicton ! ) et je continue ... Courage !

Bravo à vous tous, puisque, même si certains avaient l'air de ne pas trouver l'exercice évident, vous avez tous trouvé les bonnes réponses !
