Hi! Here's some corrections for you:

- Next week I… (1) [BE] 21 (= j’aurai 21 ans)
Next week I will be 21 = GOOD

- The Professor …(2) [TAKE UP] his chair in October. (= devait…[c’était convenu])
The Professor must take up his chair in October. = GOOD, also
The Professor needs to take up his chair in October.

Geoff always leaves the lights on when he's last out of the office.
