Here is my try :
1- To be brighter than. .... OUTSHINE
2- A filling in a tooth. ..... STOPPING
3- Rough and noisy behaviour or play. .... HORSEPLAY
4- A person who is not what he pretends to be. .... PHONEY
5- Something that gives authority, especially a legal document giving the police the authority for searching someone's house, arresting someone etc. ..... WARRANT
6- A loud continuous noise. ..... DIN
7- The total property, money etc of a person, company etc. .. ASSETS
8- A small hill or heap of earth etc. ..... MOUND
9- To take part. ..... PARTAKE
10- The handle or lever used to turn the rudder of a boat. .... TILLER

Here is my work:
1- To be brighter than. (s n t h) 4 outshine = briller plus que, surpasser.
2- A filling in a tooth. (p g t n s p) stopping = plombage… je ne sèche plus grâce au site : "FR.BAB.LA " C'est le seul mot qui ait été problématique à trouver !!!
3- Rough and noisy behaviour or play. (p h s l r) 4 horseplay = chahut, jeu de mains.
4- A person who is not what he pretends to be. (h n p) 3 phoney = hypovrite, imposteur, charlatan.
5- Something that gives authority, especially a legal document giving the police the authority for searching someone's house, arresting someone etc. (r t w n r) 2 warrant = mandat.
6- A loud continuous noise. (d n) 1 din = vacarme, tapage, chahut.
7- The total property, money etc of a person, company etc. (s s s t) 2 asset = actif patrimonial.
8- A small hill or heap of earth etc. (n m d) 2 mound = tertre, monticule.
9- To take part. (k p t r) 3 partake = participer.
10- The handle or lever used to turn the rudder of a boat. (l t r l) 2 tiller = barre de gouvernail.
