Myths and heroes
What are the myths and heroes of the United States of America story’s ?
Today I am going to speak about the notion of Myths and heroes. First of all, a myths is a real or a fake story about a hero. And a hero is a person who is admired for his or her achievements, courage and noble qualities because he has done something special and brave. Two types of heroes exist, the fictional in the mythology and the real ones like Martin Luther King. I’m going to speak about the myths and heroes of the United State’s story to answer to the question « What are the myths and heroes of the United States of America story’s ? »
The story of the United States begin with the Indian and the Puritans or the pilgrims Father’s who were named like this because they wanted to purify the Christian religion. I will first briefly recall why the Pilgrim Fathers left England, thanks to an article from BBC news, published on january the 18th 1998. The Pilgrim Fathers are the first settlers to have arrived in America, in 1620. They came from England via the Netherland.they arrived on the new territory on November 11th. They left England and the Netherland to find a place where their religious view were tolerated. Plymouth rock is the place where the Pilgrim’s Fathers landed. This story, is considerate as the beginning of the story of the America. Everybody in the United States know this persons, considerate as heroes, because they did, with a lot of bravour, what nobody else did before them. After that, the United States had evoluated a lot in 4 century becoming a land very asking by the immigrator because of the American Dream.
The song American Land by Bruce Springsteen refers to the American Dream, and how hard you have to work when you immigrate to America to fulfill your dreams. It might be about the possibilities available to make money and to make this land your new home. In fact the singers wants to live in United States Nation because all religion lives together. The American Dream is the notion that the American social, economic and political system makes success possible for everybody. In this song we also can underscore the reference to heroes, who are J.F Kennedy and Martin Luther King. Many people criticize the idea of the American dream because they say that it’s impossible for everybody to be able to fulfill their dreams.
Indeed, in reality the American dream is not a success for everybody. This reality is well illustrated across the photo Louisville Flood by Margaret Bourke-White. In fact the photo is based on a contrast between the foreground and the background, between Africains Americans queued up and a white family living the American way of life. The American Way of life, promoted by Hollywood is the model of a family living in a beautiful house with a garden, a car, children who are going to go to university and in turn live the American Way of life. This photo underlines that some people are left out from the system. In reality all American citizens are not equal. I think the photographer’s goal is to make people realize that some people in the USA are confronted with a social and economic problem. Poverty can exist in a rich society with a high standard of living such as the United States.
To conclude, the United States of America is a land full of myths and heroes because of the coming of the Pilgrim Fathers who are the based of the America’s story and then by the construction of a myths, the American Dream thanks to a land full of heroes and a very strong culture.

Hello!
Myths and heroes
What are the myths and heroes of the United States of America story’s ?
Today I am going to speak about the notion of Myths and heroes. First of all, a myths (mélange singulier/pluriel!)is a real or a fake story about a hero. And a hero is a person who is admired for his or her achievements, courage and noble qualities because he/she has done something special and brave. Two types of heroes exist, the fictional one in the mythology and the real ones like Martin Luther King. I’m going to speak about the myths and heroes of the United State’s story to answer to the question « What are the myths and heroes of the United States of America story’s ? » A teacher can't have asked you this question!)
The story of the United States begin (grammaire + temps!)with the Indian(= Native Americans!) and the Puritans or the pilgrims Father’s who were named like this because they wanted to purify the Christian religion. I will first briefly recall why the Pilgrim Fathers(YES!) left England, thanks to an article from XXX BBC news, published on january the 18th 1998. Everybody in the United States know this persons(evybody+ singulier; puis à nouveau, mélange singulier/ pluriel!), considerate as heroes, because they did, with a lot of bravour, what nobody else did (antériorité dans le passé ...)before them. After that, the United States had evoluated a lot in 4 century becoming a land very asking by the immigrator (Oh dear ... ) because of the American Dream.
The song American Land by Bruce Springsteen refers to the American Dream, and how hard you have to work when you immigrate to America to fulfill your dreams. It might be about the possibilities available (word order!)to make money and to make this land your new home. In fact the singers wants to live in XXX United States Nation because all religion lives together. The American Dream is the notion that the American social, economic and political system makes success possible for everybody. In this song we also can underscore the reference to heroes, who are= such as J.F Kennedy and Martin Luther King. Many people criticize the idea of the American dream because they say that it’s impossible for everybody to be able to fulfill their dreams.
Indeed, in reality the American dream is not a success for everybody. This reality is well illustrated across the photo Louisville Flood by Margaret Bourke-White. Poverty can exist in a rich society with a high standard of living such as the United States.
To conclude, the United States of America is a land full of myths and heroes(You didn't show it at all...) because of the coming of the Pilgrim Fathers who are the based of the America’s story and then by the construction of a myths, the American Dream thanks to a land full of heroes and a very strong culture.
