Help him/4
Dear here4u,
Here is my try, ready to be corrected
THERE IS A WHOLE WORLD out THERE, BUT YOU HAVE TO DISCOVER , though these new CULTURAL HOLIDAYS seasons have been INVENTED to make it EASIER FOR you to HAVE FUN. You COULD DISCOVER MUSEUMS, CHURCHES and MYSTERIOUS FORTRESSES. You SHOULD JOURNEY through ancient ruins or TAN on PARADISIAC BEACHES. THESE are EXPERIENCES WHICH WOULD AWAKE your passion for the discovery OF THE world, BECAUSE* “TRAVELLING BROADENS the MIND.”
* I do think that the use of ‘cause is not correct in letters, essays etc.
The abacus hasn’t been so smooth as hoped. The most words I have been able to find out are: ONLY, WAY, FUN, BEACH, LAND, FLIGHT, ISLET,
And I'm now aboard a lifeboat,
drifting,
after being wrecked against the reef,
surrounding ,
the paradisiac islet,
on whose beaches,
I dreamed to get tanned.
I’m sorry for having misfired and, thanking for your exercises,
I wish you a great week.
So long
Joe39

Hello !
Maxwell m'a informé qu'il y avait une erreur en ligne 3. Je vous avoue que je suis exaspérée par cet abacus qui m'avait demandé tant de temps à concevoir et, SURTOUT, qui a résisté à toutes mes relectures attentives ... (lire : U / C/ C/ A/ A/ I en ligne 3. )

Voici votre correction !
I)Student in Danger! SOS, student in need…
Time to help one of my poor students again: please, will you?
Your mission, and I know you love it..., will be to CORRECT as many mistakes as you can. PLEASE, WRITE THE CORRECTED WORDS or sentences IN CAPITALS… (Colours are lost in transfers.) Add punctuation if necessary.
There’s a whole world out there waiting to be discovered, so this season we’ve launched a new range of cultural holidays to make it even easier for you to explore more of it. Discover museums, churches and mysterious fortresses, (*1) journey through glorious ancient ruins, or bathe/ or tan/ on heavenly beaches. These are (*2) experiences that will reawaken your passion for the world. « Travels broaden the minds ! »
- "world" = monde / "word" = un mot
- to make it easier for you to explore... = Pour qu'il vous soit plus facile d'explorer ...
- ici, *1 "journey" est un verbe, à l'impératif.
*2 = revoir la différence entre "experience" et "experiment" (leçon N° 114191)
- "broad" = "wide" = large => to broaden = élargir.
II) VOCABULARY: Slide the abacus beads
The theme is : «‘Hope it was as smooth as can be!» = Your FLIGHT.
a runway = piste d’atterrissage
to fly (i flew, flown) = voler
coach = classe économique
a check-in/ to check-in = l’enregistrement
the crew = l'équipage
boarding = l'embarquement
landed = atterri
a pilot = un pilote
a flight = un vol
an aisle = une allée, un couloir (dans les avions)
Cet exercice n'était pas facile, par son layout, son nombre de lettres, je vous l'accorde ... et comme, en plus, je m'étais trompée .... Sorry sorry!
